Adding some outdoor Christmas lights to your house can really make Christmas feel that extra bit special not just for you, but also those around you and these days with so much available in terms of variety it’s become possible to create something that looks so professional that you’ll have complete strangers driving up and down your street simply so that you can check out all the hard work you’ve put in.
However before that can happen you actually need to get your lights. Cue a whole lot of wondering in and out of stores trying to work out which Christmas lights work inside, which work outside and whether you’re going to be able to power them by battery and solar power or instead you’re going to need to plug them in inside the house then feed the cable out.
It takes some planning and can put the weaker off, but we know that’s not you and you’re committed to getting your house looking the best this Christmas which is why we’ve put together this guide to buying and decorating your home and garden this year… though you might not want to take your display quite as far as these Christmas light displays!)
